Karthikeyan Pandian, alias VK Pandian, is a politician and a retired IAS Officer. He served as a private secretary of the 15th Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik. Pandian is the chairman of 5T (Transformational Initiatives) which allows him to work directly under Naveen Patnaik. Pandian joined the Biju Janata Dal in 2023 in the presence of the CM and senior party leaders. He is the key election strategist of the party.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi allegedly claimed that V K Pandian sent the keys of the Puri Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandar (treasure trove) to Tamil Nadu.
