Vijay Prabhakar Alagarswami is a politician and the youth wing leader of the Desiya Murpokku Dravidar Kazhagam Party (DMDK). He is the son of Captain Vijayakanth, who is a legendary actor and politician. Vijayakanth passed away on December 28 due to ill health.
Vijay Prabhakaran attended various political meetings with his father. He also appeared in an independent song named En Uyir Thozha, which was released on December 12, 2020. In the 2024 Lok Shaba election, he contested the Virudhunagar Parliamentary Constituency alliance under the AIADMK party.
