After her abduction, a video was released showing her being taken away on motorcycles as she yelled, “Don’t kill me.” In March 2024, her now-late mother urged President Joe Biden to rescue her daughter after she appeared in a Hamas video released in January. 245 days in captivity, the joint operation conducted by Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet, and Israel Police rescued the hostage from Gaza.
