Yann Perreau is a Canadian singer and songwriter who specialises in rock-electro music. He is known for his solo performance, but before becoming a lone wolf he performed in Doc et less Chirurgines from 1994 to 1999. Shake Your Fire Maker is one of his most listened-to songs. Yaan suddenly made the news in July 2024, after he announced his return. His career was put on hold after s*xul allegations were filed against him in 2020. His first television appearance after the spring of 2020, was a great success and his performance was cheered by the audience with compassion and kindness.

- Yann formed his trio band with guitar player David Blais and drummer Steve Cournoyeer at 18.
- His album was selected for the Best Francophone Album at the 2010 Juno Awards, a Canadian version of the Grammies.
