Chiyaan Vikram best known by his screen name Vikram is an Indian actor and singer who mainly appears in Tamil films. Vikram made his debut in the 1990 film En Kadhal Kanmani which was followed by a series of small-budget films in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu. He got his big break for the role of Chiyaan in director Bala’s 1999 romantic drama Sethu. Since then he appeared in notable projects including Gemini, Dhool, Pithamagan, Arul, Anniyan, Raavanan, Deiva Thirumagal, I, and Ponniyin Selvan. Vikram became a sensation after Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu talked about his time with him in the Veera Dheera Sooran movie shoot during the Silly Monks YouTube Channel interview.

In school, he assisted in the behind-the-scenes of his theatre club and later he got the opportunity to play the lead role after the main character was diagnosed with Chicken pox.
