Review

Arambahm is a thriller drama with the concept of the Deja Vu. With impressive visuals and a stellar soundtrack, this movie gives you a good experience. It has an arresting screenplay with an interesting narrative, which makes the audience engaged on the screen. But story-wise, it is another run-in-the-mill thriller movie.

Mohan Bhagath’s better characterization with a bearded look stunned me. Ravindra Vijay and Laxman Meesala also gave their best, along with Surabi Prabhavathi, who aced her role as a mother. The background scores are groovy and smooth. However, some scenes feel boring due to the weak writing. The frequent suspense confuses the flow of the film. Overall, it is an experimental film that deserves a pat on the back.

Kingdom of the Planet Of The Apes begins with the great funeral ceremony of their beloved leader, Caesar. But somehow, his name gets mentioned all over the movie, even centuries after his death. There are several langs like who the men Mae meets at the end or what is the purpose of the chip she found. Despite several negative comments and trolls, Wes Ball still managed to win the audience’s hearts with emotions, interesting characters, and a compelling story.

The audience and critics praised the makers for their excellent work in CGI, which brought real-life apes to the screen. It is another piece of excellent work in the Planet of the Apes franchise. Some even commented that they couldn’t wait to see the next sequel. Overall, it’s a one-time watchable movie.

Story

STAR movie revolves around the story of a lower-middle-class young boy who dreams of becoming a star. The struggles he faces while achieving his dream are the main crux.

Review

STAR is an engaging entertainer with a well-written screenplay and an outstanding performance by Kavin. The first half of the movie combines with the song and various fun moments where Kavin has easily pulled the college and school boy characters.

Kavin unveiled his full potential in this film and single-handedly lifted the story, which made him the next promising performer in Tamil Cinema. Lal portions connected well. Actress Geetha Kailasam‘s performance in the film is really appreciated. If we are able to relate to the middle-class family’s hardships in the film, it’s because of the two actors Kavin and Geetha Kailasam. Though Elan‘s film is about dad and son’s collective dream, Geetha’s characterization and performance stand out! Excellent performance.

The second half, with a few surprises and an excellent climax, gives you a seat-edge experience. It is a completely different genre for director Elan after Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. With the heart-warming storyline, this movie gives you real-time experience and feelings. Yuvan Shankar Raja nailed it with his wonderful background score and songs. His extraordinary music lifted some of the emotional sequences.

Overall, it is a very inspiring drama with impressive visuals, intense performances, and stunning music. It will definitely be one of the best movies in Kavin’s acting career.
