Ankita Lokhande is a talented actress and model known for her work in the Hindi family soap Pavitra Rishta. Her participation in the 2004 reality TV show India’s Best Cinestar Ki Khoj paved the path for her to appear in TV shows and films such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur, Bhaaghi 3, and The Last Coffee. After her appearance in the 2013 Hindi series Ek Thhi Naayka, she took a nine-year break before reappearing in Smart Jodi with her husband. Ankita’s fame grew tremoundsly for appearing in the Bigg Boss Hindi Season 17 hosted by Salman Khan. Her birthday celebration video with her in-laws became a huge sensation on social media.

• Ankita Lokhande was active in sports in her childhood and was also a state-level badminton player.
• In 2006, while searching for acting jobs in Mumbai, she took part in the talent hunt reality show Idea ZEE Cinestars.
• Her debut TV show was supposed to be NDTV’s Bali Umar Ko Salaam, but due to some unforeseen reasons, the show got shelved.
• In an interview, she revealed that her first salary was Rs. 10,000.
• In 2011, she participated in the Jhaalak Dikhhla Jaa, a famous dance reality TV show.
• Ankita is good friends with celebrities such as Rashami Desai, Nandish Sandhu, Jay Bhanushali, Mahhi Vij, and Ragini Khanna.
