Elango Kumaravel is an Indian actor and writer known for his contribution to the Tamil film industry. He made his film debut in the 2001 Tamil flick Maayan directed by Nassar. Elango gained fame for his portrayal of a beggar in the Abhiyum Naanum movie. As a co-founder of the Chenani-based theatre group Magic Lantern, he made a positive impact on the performing arts. Besides acting Elango wrote the story for the 2010 film Kattradhu Kalavu. Elango signed up for GV Prakash’s next project, Kingston which has huge anticipation among the audience.
